150+ years combined experience
We're a team of skilled sailmakers with generations of craftsmanship between them.
An independent loft
We source materials from leading marine suppliers and recommend what’s genuinely right for your boat – not what we’re tied to.
Local, on the water every day
Based in Pwllheli and working across North Wales every day. Measuring, pick-up and drop-off are just part of how we work.
Fantastic service, fixed our sail quickly when we tore a seam en route elsewhere so didn't delay our plans too much. If you're lucky you'll even meet a cute four-legged helper!
Good jobs, very good. A1.
Not ready for new?
We repair upholstery too
If your seats are sound but tired, a restitch, new piping or a replacement panel can give them several more seasons for a fraction of the cost of new.
Boat upholstery FAQs
We’re here to help
Can’t see your question? Call us on +44 1758 613266 and you’ll speak to the person doing the work.
Ask us a question
Can you reupholster my existing boat seats?
Yes. We can recover your existing seats in new marine-grade vinyl or fabric, and replace the foam if it’s flattened or holding water, so they look and feel like new.
What materials do you use for marine upholstery?
Marine-grade vinyl for exterior seating, which is UV-stabilised, water-resistant and easy to clean, and hard-wearing fabrics for cabin interiors. We’ll recommend what suits where each piece is used.
Can you make new cushions to fit my boat?
Yes. We make cockpit cushions, sun pads, bench seating and cabin cushions to your boat’s exact shapes and layout.
Do you do interior and exterior boat upholstery?
Both. We upholster cabin seating, backrests and cushions as well as cockpit and deck seating, using materials suited to each.
Can you repair my upholstery rather than replace it?
Often, yes. Split seams, worn piping and damaged panels can usually be repaired. We’ll tell you honestly whether a repair or new upholstery makes more sense.
How long does boat upholstery take?
It depends on the job and the time of year: a few cushions are quicker than a full interior. We’ll give you a timescale with your quote, and it’s worth booking ahead of the spring rush.
How much does marine upholstery cost?
Every job is bespoke, so we quote once we’ve seen photos or measured up. Tell us your boat and what you’d like done and we’ll give you a clear price.
