Why spray dodgers
Lashed to your guardrails either side of the cockpit, dodgers take the bite out of the wind and keep the worst of the spray off the crew.
Add your boat’s name and they do a second job, making you easier to identify on the water and in the marina. We cut every letter digitally, so the font and style are up to you, and lettering works well for branding too if your boat carries a sponsor or business name.

What are spray dodgers?
Spray dodgers are canvas panels that lash to the guardrails either side of the cockpit. They block wind and spray, give the crew some shelter, and are a good place to show your boat’s name.
How much do spray dodgers cost?
A plain set without lettering costs around £170 on average, and custom lettering starts from £5 per letter. We’ll give you a fixed price once we know your sizes and the lettering you’d like.
Can you match the name on my hull?
Usually, yes. We cut every letter digitally, so send us a photo of your hull lettering or the font name and we’ll match it as closely as we can.
Can I use dodgers for branding?
Yes. As well as boat names, we can cut sponsor names, logos and business names, so dodgers are a simple way to promote a business or a race campaign.
What sizes can you make?
Every set is made to measure, so we work to the length and height that suit your cockpit. If you’re not sure, send us a photo and a couple of rough measurements and we’ll advise.
What colours can I choose?
Marine acrylic canvas comes in a wide range of colours, and you can choose the lettering colour separately. We can match your sprayhood, sail covers or lazy bag.
